entrepreneurial myth
Mitos
1 : Entrepreneurs are not implementing thinkers
To produce a
product, the entrepreneur is an organizer for an entrepreneur to be successful
when the product is properly implemented but to formulate the product,
entrepreneurs tend to have brains as to formulate strategies to enable them to
succeed in their activities. Therefore, thinking that there should be high
quality among the entrepreneurs who do so can exercise regularly and produce
results.
Mitos
2 : Entrepreneurs are born not made
Many expressed
the view that the entrepreneur is an attribute of a person since birth. This
means, they are born have direct interest in the business. This means value is
high spirited, wise to take chances and not giving up. However, at present is
evident that many successful entrepreneurs through the establishment of such a
learning process and courses on entrepreneurship. For example, in Malaysia
there are many young entrepreneurs who have managed to go through the process
of applying the science of entrepreneurship and their interest to participate
in these courses before becoming a successful entrepreneur.
Mitos
3 : The entrepreneur is a creator
Entrepreneurs
often regarded as a creator because they produce something new. But, instead of
being an individual entrepreneur must have thought that high creativity and
innovation because they have to produce a new initiative that aims to develop
their business. For example, KFC often diversify the latest recipes and
reasonable prices according to customer demand. Therefore , the resulting
creativity KFC has introduced worldwide.
Mitos
4 : Entrepreneurs are the ones dropping out of academic
In the reality
of world, there are a number of successful entrepreneur that are low education
level. They are Bill gates, Steve Jobs, Robert Kuok, Lim Goh Tong and etc. They
success not because of the cert of University, they success is because of their
experience and knowledge.
In the case of Steve Jobs, he only
have the high school education which he dropped out from the Reed College in
Portland after six month. He first started as video game designer with Atari at
the year of 1974 and resign after several months to find spiritual
enlightenment at India for psychedelic
drugs experiment. At the year of 1976, he started Apple computer with his
partner,Wozniak. The sales of Apple Computer is growing rapidly and until year
of 1985 he phase out by the company executive. Then, he was not stop to improve
and begin a new software and hardware enterprise which is NEXT. He was not
limited for computers only, he also having the animation studio which is Pixar Studio
after that. Until the year of 1996, he just going back to be Ceo of Apple again
and brought it on the track to get the
market share. From the above statement, we can knew that education is not only
from the school but depends on the willing of learn of yourself. To
become an expertise in one area does not necessary need the high education
until PHD level. If you have the passion like Steve Job whose learnt the
computer experience outside the school you also can be like him. The society
had actually build the person become stronger, you don’t have the soft lesson
and protection like school. You have to independence and keep growing.
Mitos
5 :Entrepreneurs must have all the characteristics and the specific profile
A successful
entrepreneur is not only born and can be educated in this era. At the first,
the entrepreneur must not be perfect at the started time. They learn and gain
experience over the time. The Hong Kong
billionaire Li Ka Shing principle is keep study on every day and make
improvement. The way he studied is through the books and peoples. He insists to
read finish the book once he is started. He also watch English movie like us to
improve his English. So the main point here is every entrepreneur could be
success by learning and not to be borned. Furthermore, a successful
entrepreneur also need to have the good attitude that makes him to be survive
in the competitive business environment.
Mitos
6 – What entrepreneurs want is money
From this
perception, the money is not the most important factors for a business to be
success. The profit generated is just a basic to continue running the business.
The most important element is about the customer. When your product or service
which fulfill and meet the customer requirement, you will won the market share
and get the money. So instead of pressing the money and profit factors, the
trending of market and customer needs have to be study well. For example, when
your products are cheap on the market compare to others brand products, but low
in quality and function, do you still think there are people willing to buy
your products? In term of quality of product, there are some aspect like human
resources management, operation management, product and development and
marketing have to be consider. The internal and external operation have to be
managed well to ensure the product and services delivery to customer is
guarantee.
In others
fact, some business success also because of the ‘money’. When entrepreneur get
the vision for some potential industry, they act as pioneer and taking the
market share faster than others. But in the view of entrepreneur, they just
think about the future more than money. Tan Sri Lim Kok Thay that expanded his
father business, Genting Highland toward the international which develop the
entertainment and tourism industry. From the above statement, we can know that
he is caring the whole industry development rather than his wealth only. In a
conclusion, it can be say that entrepreneur has to be big vision and caring the
society instead of making money.

entrepreneurs is fate

and evaluate that can bring problems. This is because when entrepreneurs do not
plan , something unexpected will arise and all plans are made can not be
implemented successfully . in reality , in the business world that more intense
and full of challenges , entrepreneurs need a strong and solid knowledge of the
strengths and weaknesses. work schedule planning and strategy development is
the key to success for an entrepreneur

achieving success , but failure faced by them do not prove they will fail
forever . faced failure will pursue and developed entrepreneurs in
entrepreneurship . In addition , the failure may also form entrepreneurs to be
more careful and more determined to work towards wealth . Entrepreneurs often
leveraging of mistakes ourselves and others to be used as a guide in the future

life. Same goes to entrepreneur that faced risk in their daily life. Entrepreneur
is not a ‘ gambler ’ that said by myths
of entrepreneurship, otherwise they are moderate in take the risk. When they
faced uncertain problem, these entrepreneur will consider all aspects that will
probably happen and cautious in making decision. They will see the risk as opportunities
and advantages for them to become more successful in the future.
Entrepreneurs are hardly to said ‘
no ’ if they feel that they cannot achieve high goals. Besides, they also will
prevent them from involved unreasonable risk. Moreover , entrepreneur need to
find the information and use right channel to decrease the future risk.
